7.8Mw earthquake on April 25th, 2015, Nepal. 3 weeks after the disaster. Blossomwood Foundation brought 10 luggage filled with 347 Sawyer water filters, 146lb of plant proteins, most needed antibiotics, anti-diarrhea, anti-inflammatory and many other medicine. Also we brought a lot of other medical supplies such as masks, emergency blankets, first aid items. While on the ground we were able to purchase close to 7000lb of rice, 2000lb of potatoes, 1000lb of lentils and many other most needed stapled food to feed over a 1000 people living in the tent communities around Kathmandu. We were also able to buy roofing supplies for the 10 houses, which were severely damaged during that disaster.

7.8Mw earthquake on April 16th, 2016, Ecuador. 1 week after disaster. Blossomwood Foundation brought 3 luggage filled with 140 various brands water filters, 60 menstrual cups, LED lighters, various medicine, countless medical and hygiene supplies. While on the ground we were able to purchase hundreds of pounds of various local staple foods, 120L of cooking palm oil, hundreds of first necessity items such as candles, matches, soap, shampoo, toothpaste/tooth brushes, shaving razors and many more. Over a 1000 of baby pampers and several hundreds of adult pampers for 120 abandoned seniors we found one day before our departure home!

April of 2016 two boxes of children clothes and most needed school supplies were shipped to ADEC Nepal. School teacher Prakash Adhikari provides accommodation, food and teaches 15 orphans in the back side of his own house. We helped them in 2015 by giving water filtration system and this year we were able to provide a little bit more to support his effort.

May of 2016….. boxes of food, children clothes and school supplies will be shipped to Ecuador….
